Fort Saskatchewan Minor Hockey is proud to be supporting the Fort Sask. Atom AA Legion Br.27 Rangers in hosting the Atom “AA” Provincials.  We have a dedicated group of volunteers who have eagerly taken on the job of delivering a tournament and an experience that will be remembered by all participants in years to come.

Congratulations to Cochrane Rockies, the Atom AA PlaySmart Award winners

Award Criteria:
The team selected as the PLAY SMART Team for the tournament/event will be the team that best reflects the philosophy of Play SMART by demonstrating positive attributes that will include, but not limited to:

• Team Officials provide equal opportunities to every member of their team regardless of the situation.
• Limited number of “Unsportsmanlike” type Penalties assessed. (ie. Abuse of officials, Checking from behind, Check to the head, Major or Match Penalties, etc.)
• Team participates with safety as a consideration
• Team, Coaching Staff, and Parents shows Respect to and for the following:
  • Opponents
  • Themselves
  • Tournament/Event Officials
  • Host Community (Accommodations, Arena Staff, etc.)
  • Host Committee Volunteers
  • General Public
