Barrhead Pirates win classic championship game!!

 

The Bantam B championship game was one for the record books. The host High Country Rockies came out strong and took a 3 - 0 lead in the first. This score carried through to the end of the second when High Country took a 5 minute major. This was followed with a 2 minute minor at the start of the third period. Barrhead capitalized on the opportunity and scored 3 goals in the span of 2 1/2 minutes. The score remained tied through the first overtime period and deep into the second overtime period when, with approximately 4 minutes left on the clock, Barrhead ended the game with a 4th goal.

 

Congratulations go out to the Barrhead Pirates, Bantam B Provincial Champions.
