Brooks (population 13,500) is located approximately 180 kilometers east of
Calgary . The City of
Brooks is celebrating its centennial anniversary in 2010.
The tournament games will be played in the new 1,700 seat Centennial Regional Arena which opened on Friday, January 15, 2010.
Brooks has always been known as an oil and gas, plus agricultural community. New housing developments, business and industrial projects have been completed over the past decade.
Every year Brooks hosts major events. The Cactus Classic Pro Curling tour stop has become a favorite among prominent world curlers. This is the 10th year anniversary season for the local Alberta Junior Hockey League team the Brooks Bandits.
The City of Brooks and surrounding area look forward to welcoming all teams to our community and hope to make your visit the positive best ever experience for both players and parents.
